Jennifer Hudson and rapper Common continue to fuel dating rumors after a romantic dinner date at Nobu Malibu

Jennifer Hudson and rapper Common looked every inch the loved-up couple after a romantic dinner date at Nobu Malibu on Wednesday amid persistent dating rumors.

Despite going months without confirming their relationship, the pair, who both star in the upcoming action thriller Breathe, appeared cozy as they exited the celebrity hotspot together.

For their fun night out, the singer, who became the 17th person to attain EGOT status in August, cut a casual figure in a cropped fuchsia puffer jacket, light pink scarf and baggy sweatpants.

In September, Jennifer commented on the speculation after the pair were spotted in a Philadelphia restaurant, telling ET: ‘People create their narratives of it and it’s like, OK, you know, how you feel.

‘We shot a film together and he played my husband. We gotta eat in between those moments.’

They were first romantically linked one year after he split from comedian Tiffany Haddish after 16 months of dating. 

The comedian and rapper – born Lonnie Rashid Lynn – called it quits due to their busy schedules according to People.

An insider for the publication said: ‘They are never in the same city together and both of them are just too busy for a serious relationship.’

The former couple met on set of 2019 action film The Kitchen as Tiffany was one of the top billed stars alongside Elisabeth Moss and Melissa McCarthy. 

Back in August 2020, Tiffany had confirmed that the two were an item during an appearance on Steve-O’s podcast Wild Ride.
