Masicka Holds Private Listening Session in NYC For Upcoming Album, ‘438’

Dancehall artist, Masicka is set to drop his debut album, 438 on December 3rd, 2021. Last week, in New York City, at Quad Studios he held a private listening session for a few media outlets and fans to hear. This project has 16 songs, including his current hit record, “Love Story.” After listening to each track we can confidently say this one is for the books! A timeless album with absolutely no skips whatsoever!

The project helps fans, to learn more about Masicka as an artist and how he utilizes his upbringing to motivate him to make authentic music. He also has features from artists such as Dexta Daps, Popcaan, Stefflon Don, and more.

Masicka tells us about the meaning behind the title of the album, 438;

“I kept seeing the number 438 and knew it wasn’t coincidental. I knew these numbers had to mean something. After doing some research I learned they symbolized, hope, motivation, always pushing yourself, and achieving all you can. While on tour a few years ago the number 438 was always surrounding me whether hotel room, time, something about the number was always appearing.” 

After listening to the entire project it is safe to say this is projected to be one of his best albums released. Masicka took his time to make a body of work that his supporters will forever appreciate. He displays his true talent with this one!
