Tidal Launches Free Subscription Plan

Tidal has launched a free subscription plan and splits their HiFi option into standard and plus. The HiFi standard offers Hi-Fi sound quality, streaming data report, ad-free with unlimited skips, and offline listening. The free subscription plan offers 80+ million songs, expertly curated playlists and limited ad interruptions. Hi-Fi Plus offers innovative audio formats, artist payments reports, fan-centered royalties, and direct artist payouts.
This is big for TIDAL, considering they received a lot of internet backlash about being priced at about $20/month. Now offering a free, 9.99/month, and then $20/month, they are definitely on their way to expanding their audience.
