Rihanna Announces Her “Rih Issue”

All eight of Rihanna’s studio albums will be published as limited-edition vinyl “RIH ISSUES.”

She shared the news on social media, saying, “The RIH ISSUE. Get these limited-edition color vinyl + exclusive merch sets before they’re gone!!! Pre-orders are now available at ri-hanna.io/rihissue.” She also shared a photo of each of the limited-edition vinyl records, which are colored to match their original album covers. Each album will come with a limited-edition T-shirt or hoodie that fits the album. Each set costs between $100 and $140.

While waiting for Rih’s ninth album, fans will be able to listen to all her legendary songs, from her debut studio album Music of the Sun to her most recent chart-topper Anti, which was released in 2016.

The fashion icon revealed details about her new song in September, claiming it would be “totally different” from her past work. She told the Associated Press, “You’re not going to expect what you’re going to hear.” “Just think about that for a moment. What you think you know about Rihanna will not be what you hear. I’m experimenting a lot, and music is like fashion in that you should be able to play it. I believe that I should be allowed to wear anything I want and that I should be able to listen to whatever I want.”

Rihanna announced last year that she had begun recording new music and had “a slew of writing camps.” She even hinted at a future collaboration between the City Girls and herself. The project, however, has yet to receive an official release date.

Until then, Rihanna is focusing on growing her Fenty empire, including Fenty Beauty and the Savage X Fenty lingerie line.

She’s also said to be working on hair products as part of her Fenty brand.
