“DONDA” was not released and Kanye fans take it with humor

Ye’ is an expert in delaying the releases of his albums. But still, some people expected the release of the LP this Friday.

All Kanye West fans know that they should take his promises skeptically. The hip hop star has always struggled to keep up with his releases, though to be fair, it’s not always Kanye’s fault. “DONDA” (which was to be called “God’s Country” before Kanye changed his mind) was not released at midnight this Friday… Neither later, nor probably in a long time.

It is not the first time that a Kanye album has not dropped when he said it would. The 2019 Jesus Is King LP was originally titled Yandhi and was supposed to come out in 2018. It ended up being delayed several times before finally arriving on October 25, 2019, but not at midnight on a Friday as most albums do.

Jesus is King” has so far been the album of Kanye that has generated the most chaos before its release. However, it is a trend that dates back to “The Life of Pablo” from 2016. That LP was marked by song changes, name changes, and exclusivity issues.

The past few days have not been easy for Kanye. Since announcing his desire to become President of the United States, fate has not smiled on him. The war with his wife and mother-in-law, his erratic Twitter posts, and a very possible mental illness are seriously affecting GOAT’s life.

But fans would not miss a new release delay for a Kanye album, memes on Twitter were immediate. Check out some of his fan posts below:

What do you think caused the “DONDA” delay? Do you think the album will be released this year? Share your opinion in the comment box and tell us what you think!
