Kanye West Runs For… President?
Once again, Kanye West proves that he is is always on the move. From music, to shoes and GAP, to wellness and beauty products, it’s hard to know what Ye will do next.
Now, in a shocking Tweet posted on the Fourth of July, West has announced that he is, “running for President.”
He states: “We must now realize the promise of American by trusting God, unifying our vision, and building our future [. . .] #2020VISION” With this recent tweet [and more Christian music being dropped by West], he seems to have no intention of slowing down with his new messages of God and faith. His next album is titled, “God’s Country.”
Reactions to Kanye’s announcement have been mixed. According to CNN, West has not made any concrete moves toward a candidacy.
