The Weeknd Donates 1 Mill. to Hospital Frontlines & MusiCares
This week, singer, songwriter, and record producer The Weeknd donated a whopping 1 million dollars to charity and relief funds. A Grammy-award winning, Diamond-certified artist, The Weeknd puts some of his monetary gain to good use.

The Weeknd’s million-dollar donation will be split 50/50 between frontline hospital workers of Scarborough Health Network and MusiCares, a Grammy-associated charity that has, according to their website, “provided more than $60 million in health, financial, and rehabilitation resources to music people in times of need.”
In addition to The Weeknd’s 1 mill. contribution, the singer has also put his “XO” face masks up for sale on his site. 100% of the net proceeds generated from the purchase of these masks will also go to MusiCares.
