Just a week after hitting the top of the chart, the song dropped to No. 34 in one of the worst declines in Hot 100 history.
“TROLLZ” suffered the second-worst drop from No. 1 in over 60 years, second only to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You“. Two decades after its original release, her Christmas song went from the top of the list on January 4, 2020, to being completely off the Hot 100 on the January 11 list.
“TROLLZ” suffered a dramatic decline in sales and number transmission in its second week. The single sold approximately 9,000 copies (down 92 percent) and had 13.8 million streams in the US (62 percent) during the week ending June 25.
Despite the recession, the 6ix9ine and Nicki collaboration experienced a significant increase in radio playback. The song had 2.3 million audience impressions on-air, marking a 97 percent increase from 1.2 million impressions in its week at # 1.
