Sacramento’s Emerging Hip Hop Star Bris Was Shot To Death

A sad day for the Sacramento Hip Hop scene.

Another young rapper has been killed in a shooting. Bris, a young promise from the Sacramento hip hop scene, was found dead yesterday morning. The rapper was found with a bullet wound that would end up killing him. Bris was officially pronounced dead before he could be transferred to a hospital.

According to the police report, officers were responding to a complaint of possible shooting in the Franklin Boulevard and Fruitridge area. However, when they got to the area, they found no one other than Bris. Officers tried to transfer him to a hospital but the injury he suffered was too serious, he died a few minutes later.

As of this writing, no suspect has yet been arrested.

Bris, who was just 20 years old, was gaining popularity very quickly in the Sacramento area thanks to his single “Panhandling” which was released in November 2019.

Despite Bris having trouble with the law in the past, he had plans to release his Mixtape “Tricky Dance Moves” in April this year, but had to be postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
