DaBaby conquers the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with his song “Rockstar”
DaBaby is at the top… Literally.
Hip Hop star DaBaby has made his first # 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song “Rockstar,” in which Roddy Rich collaborates, has managed to reach the top of the list. This is the first time in DaBaby’s career dominating the Billboard Hot 100.
The song, which is part of his third studio LP, “Blame it on Baby” debuted in ninth position when it was released in mid-April, since then it has kept climbing positions until it has finally been reached the number 1 of the billboard.

“Rockstar” had 11,000 digital sales and amassed 34.8 million broadcasts in the United States. During the week ending June 4. The song saw a 22 percent increase in the radio broadcast, garnering 20 million audience impressions for the week ending June 7.
However, Roddy Rich’s achievement must also be highlighted; Roddy becomes the first artist, since Ed Sheeran did it in 2017, to have his first two # 1 in the Billboard Hot 100, during the same year.
The Weeknd, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Adele, Bruno Mars, and Ke$ha have accomplished the same feat in the past decade.
