Wale is fed up with fake messiahs, or at least that’s what he showed when he replied to a fan via Twitter. The Warner Music Group star used his Twitter account to respond to a fan’s comment praising J. Cole for joining the protesters in Fayetteville.
“J Cole was out with Fayetteville. If that’s not the dopest Idk what is.. @Wale make us proud. #DMV.”
This tweet appeared to be a request to the 35-year-old rapper to join the group of people protesting in Washington, DC. Wale’s hometown.
However, this did not please Wale, who quickly tweeted back: “I’m sick of a lot of you acting like y’all messiah was the only one outside. Suck my dick.”
Wale deleted this answer shortly after. But not fast enough to prevent screenshots from being taken.
Last weekend J.Cole joined NBA star Dennis Smith Jr and hundreds of protesters in his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Even though Cole interacted with his fans, he asked them not to take photos or videos so as not to detract from the protest.
Wale’s response could be related to the protest that took place in front of the White House moments before Donald Trump gave a speech, the police fired explosive shells and gas at a crowd of protesters in Lafayette Square, it is still unknown if Wale was on site.
