Weston teen sentenced to 12 years for sexual assault and child abuse
A Wausau teen who reached a plea deal on sex assault and child abuse charges was sentenced to 12 years in prison Wednesday in Marathon County Court.
Colton Bradberry, 19, pleaded no contest to charges including first degree child sexual assault and child abuse in September. As part of the plea deal, multiple charges against Bradberry were dropped, including second degree sexual assault.
Bradberry was also allegedly involved in the beating of a Wausau teen in the summer, along with raping a 16-year-old girl in March.
In addition to the prison time, Bradberry was also sentenced to 12 years of extended supervision. He will also have to pay restitution fees and register as a sex offender.
