Ella Mai Performs For The First Time On SNL

Newcomer Ella Mai continues her 2018 winning streak following the success of her breakout single “Boo’d Up.” The British singer has toured with Bruno Mars for his “24K Magic Tour,” garnered countless award nominations, and released her debut self-titled album which topped the R&B charts.


Now, the UK- songstress made her premiere as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live last night. She hit Studio 8H stage to perform her certified 3x platinum  DJ Mustard-produced single “Boo’d Up” and soulful track “Trip.” She was accompanied by a notable band and breathtaking backup singers. The Ruth Bader Ginsburg featured sketch and Sheck Wes parody show was hosted by Beautiful Boy star Steve Carell.
