Belly and The Weeknd Ride Around With the Top Down in ‘What You Want’ Visual
Belly is back again with another bar raising cinematic visual, only this time featuring fellow Canadian hitmaker The Weeknd. Last week, the Grammy award winning rapper, songwriter and producer, Belly released the official video for his Weeknd featured single “What You Want.” Back in 2015, the two teamed up for the Platinum single “Might Not” off of Belly’s Up For Days mixtape – making this their second collaboration together.
The trend-setter Colin Tilley-directed visual shows the two Canadian artists riding around in a drop-top whip, arriving at what looks to be an abandoned prison. Belly and The Weeknd are seen posted up on a pyramid, while futuristic women watch TV in 3D and cut up the money-cake with machetes.
Following bangers like “4 Days” feat. YG, “Man Listen,” and the recently released anthem “Maintain” feat. NAV — it’s obvious that “What You Want” is going to heat up the summer. Not only is it catchy and hard to get out of your head, but its paired with a captivating visual. The single increases the anticipation for the arrival of BELLY’s forthcoming project, ‘Midnight Zone’ expected to drop later this year.
